What Is a Pre-Wedding Shoot?
A pre-wedding shoot is a dedicated photography session — just the two of you — captured before your wedding day in a relaxed, unhurried environment. Unlike the hustle of the wedding day itself, a pre-wedding shoot gives you space to simply be yourselves. No guests, no schedules, no pressure. Just you, your partner, a beautiful location, and a team that knows how to turn real moments into timeless images.
For couples in Delhi and across the NCR region, a pre-wedding shoot has become one of the most cherished parts of the entire wedding journey. At Shaadista, we believe your shoot should feel like an adventure — not a photo session. Whether you are drawn to the Mughal grandeur of Lodhi Garden, the old-world charm of Hauz Khas, or the quiet rooftops of Mehrauli, we find the setting that reflects your story and build every frame around it.
Our Pre-Wedding Shoot Process
We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every couple is different, and every shoot is designed from scratch.
Step 1 — The Discovery Call
We begin with a free consultation — in person at our New Delhi studio or over a video call — to understand your personalities, your love story, and the aesthetic you are drawn to.
Step 2 — Location & Mood Planning
Our creative team puts together a personalised mood board with location suggestions, lighting references, and outfit pairings. For Delhi shoots, we plan around golden hour to ensure that warm, cinematic quality in every frame.
Step 3 — Pre-Shoot Styling Guidance
We provide detailed guidance on outfits, colour coordination, and accessories. We can also recommend trusted makeup artists in Delhi if needed.
Step 4 — The Shoot Day
Our lead photographer and assistant ease you into the session naturally — no rushed poses or forced smiles. We shoot for 4 to 6 hours across 1 to 2 locations, capturing multiple outfit changes and a range of moods from playful to romantic.
Step 5 — Editing & Delivery
You receive 60 to 100 fully edited, high-resolution images through a private online gallery within 7 to 10 working days, including drone shots where taken.
